Free Courses by Goldman Sachs on Coursera

Goldman Sachs is offering a mini-MBA package of about 10 courses on Coursera. The package includes basic courses and covers the concepts of funding, negotiation, marketing, sales, finance, operations and more. All the courses are FREE with top-class instructors and you retain all the materials (lecture notes, PPTs, quizzes and in all likelihood, even the community support) after the completion. However, one doesn't get the certificate post its completion and I've no clue as to how long the offer will last. Having already done three courses from the package, I'm sure a lot of people will find it useful. The link to the courses are as follow - 1) Fundamentals of Management -  https://www.coursera.org/learn/10k-women-8 2) Fundamentals of Funding -  https://www.coursera.org/learn/10k-women-9 3) Fundamentals of Negotiation -  https://www.coursera.org/learn/10k-women-10 4) Fundamentals of Operations -  https://www.coursera.org/learn/10k-women-7 5) Fundamentals

Intern Diaries — Pfizer | Dec ’17

I have received a lot of messages and texts from people to share my internship experiences with them. Let us try it in a different mode this time. I am trying to summarize my entire journey is a question-answer form so as to help you understand the different dynamics involved. 1)  How did I secure the intern? (Pre-internship) I was an intern at the Chennai plant of Pfizer Inc. in December ’16 during the winter break post the completion of my first semester. My work there was interrupted by the sudden demise of the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and the advent of a huge cyclone. Even then, I showed persistence and the willingness to give my 101% every time I come acr

IIT — The dream and beyond | Part — 3

If you’ve been following the series, I hope you’ve found the previous 2 parts well-paced, delivering its central message within a structured framework (if you’re smart, you’ll make out that I really love consulting. :D): situation, complication, solution, takeaways. While I’ve experimented with the form the previous 2 parts took, I don’t wish to stray too far away from the basic structure here. If you haven’t read the previous parts, I’ll put up the links for you — IIT — The dream and beyond. IIT — The dream and beyond | Part — 2

This is the second part of the series where I attempt to document my learnings and experiences from the close to three years I’ve spent in IIT (BHU). If you haven’t read it, you might want to check it out. IIT — The dream and beyond. Part — 1 Back in 2016, June 12th, I was glued to my computer screen anticipating my JEE Advanced results. I wasn’t particularly… medium.com Life at IIT (BHU) has been similar to drinking water from a firehose. I had more opportunities and faced more challenges than anything I could fathom. College life is a gift. Learning what to chase and what to ignore, however, is an art. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the privilege to join the long lineage of eminent personalities that my college has produced over the decades. In the hopes of making the journey easier for those of you that will be enrolling/are enrolled in an engineering college shortly, these are my key takeaways. If the first part was about  episodes , th
